Writing Yourself into Creative Nonfiction is making the narrative about you, even if you aren't the main character in the story, by incorporating your ideas and thoughts. When writing in 1st Person Point of View, it is much easier to include your opinions and feelings in a direct way. But it is also very common to write in an egotistical or arrogant manner. Make sure to be care and balance how much positive to right about yourself. To help, you can include little mistakes that you made to lead up to a situation or lead to an opinion. When writing in 2nd or 3rd Person Point of View, you must also make your perspective clear through word choice and structure. While you may write in different points of view for it still to be creative nonfiction, you need to remember to incorporate your attitudes and beliefs.
